How about a New Years Day ride? Start the year on two wheels weather permitting. Cold will not deter the ride, but rain, snow, or freezing fog will. Suggestions on a destination welcome.

Key West sounds GREAT!!
We have a comittment to go with the VW club News Year's morning for a mystery drive but we will be ending up at the Red Rock Grill on Dayton Blvd at Signal Mountain Road at approximately 11:30 AM for lunch. You are all welcome to join us there if you would like. They have a number of TV's so no games will be missed.
Happy Holidays to all.

It has been said that Wal-Mart sells thermal sandals and quilted Hawaiian shirts. I wonder if they have the pink snow man pattern? Also, does anyone know if studded tires are available in a 3.50x10 size?

Lunch at the Red Rock Grill was very nice. Their ruben sandwich is outstanding! I highly recommend it. After lunch, a short ride evolved, proceeding out Browntown Rd,towards Falling Water. Roberts Mill Rd. was then taken up Jackson Gap to the top of Signal Mtn. Corral Rd. was taken out to Taft Hwy.(to be in the sun) Left on Taft and a 65 mph. burst to the Signal Mtn. town limit sign, down the mtn. past the space house and back to Dayton Blvd. People that "opted" for the Key West extension ride were very late in returning. A good time was had by all! ---GB---
